Kiddum in cooperation with Riverside School held the first international robotics competition roboCUP on the 6th April 2017. Here you can view our gallery from the competition. Same competition with new challenges will be held again at the end of June 2017.

Who is the competition for: The competition is primarily organized for children from after-school clubs run by Kiddům Exploration Centre at Riverside School, EISP, PBS, CISP and other schools. However, the competition is open to others as well
How the competition works: Students from various schools apply individually (not in teams), they will then be mixed into teams of two or three members. They can sign up for three challenges: Robotic labyrinth,WeDo freestyle, WeDo speed-building
Participation is free of charge
Robotický labyrint: two- or three-member team builds a robot using the Lego Education Mindstorms EV3 set and then progams it so it can drive through a labyrith. The robot cannot touch any obstacle in the labyrinth. Time limit is 90 mins.
WeDo speed-building: two- or three-member team builds a model using Lego Education WeDo set in the shortest period of time possible.
WeDo freestyle: two- or three-member team builds any random model or mechanisms of their choice and imagination using Lego Education WeDo set. The time limit is 50 min.
